Not gonna lie living in Midland, Texas is pretty dang rough. I have lived all over the USA and have never struggled living anywhere until I moved to Midland, Texas. I can deal with the oil stink, the trash, and heat; what I struggle with is the lack of things to do in the area. So when my husband and I moved back to Midland a couple years back I was determined to change my view of this West Texas town.
One thing my kids and I love to do is playground hop! In a day we will go from playground to playground and just play! By doing this, we discovered that Midland, Texas has some pretty fun playgrounds! It is actually one of our favorite things to do in Midland, Texas!
When I was a kid, playgrounds were pretty much all the same. Wooden play structures, metal slides, metal merry go rounds, and a swing set. Very rare did you find anything different, but now playgrounds are almost like outdoor children museums! They are colorful, have cute themes, and a huge variety of things to do. Midland, Texas playgrounds have it all! They have adorable themes, fun activities, and are fun for all ages of kids! Here is a list of our favorite parks from our favorite to our least:

1. Dennis The Menace Park
This is like a regular park on steroids! I have never been to such a fun park before, and believe me being the mother of 4 kids I sure have been to a heck of a lot of parks. The theme of this park is obviously Dennis the Menace. There are 4 separate play structures on the lot. One is like a jungle, one is an airplane, one is a baseball theme, and the last (my personal favorite) is old west themed.
There are also a ton of swings, both toddler, regular, and mama/baby swings! Not only are there 4 play structures, there is a splash pad! The splash pad is a giant pirate ship with slides and cannons of water. It is literally my kids favorite splash pad. For a list of other Midland, Texas splash pads click here.
What We Love:
- XTO Splash Pad
- Mother/Baby Swings (moms can swing with their babies)
- 4 play structures so it doesn’t get too crowded
- Adorable theme of Dennis the Menace
- New playground it was redone less than 10 years ago
- There is a giant covered picnic area with probably around 8 picnic tables by the splash pad. Great for a party!
- Parking lot for playground available
- Lion water fountain
- Turf under playgrounds
What We Dislike:
- The splash pad gets really busy during the day
- Not shaded playgrounds
- No bathrooms
- Painful stickers in the grass
- A lot of the buttons don’t work
Location: 2201 W Indiana Ave, Midland, TX 79701
2. Beal Park
One of the Midland, Texas playgrounds that we love is Beal Park! This playground has an adorable old western theme! The main playground is a giant covered wagon and surrounding it is a small old west town. Another reason why this playground is wonderful is that it is shaded! West Texas gets SO hot and so a shaded playground is a huge win!
There are lots of other amenities to this park, but one that kids will love is the duck pond. Across the road from the playground is a pond with tons of ducks! We love grabbing a bag of corn and feeding them!
What We Loved:
- Cute pioneer theme
- Due to the covered wagon theme it is shaded
- Duck Pond
- Dog Park
- Not crowded at all
- Baseball fields
- Parking lot by playground
- Turf under playground
What We Disliked:
- No toddler swings
- No bathrooms
Location: 5200 W Wall St, Midland, TX 79703
3. Chris Davidson Opportunity Park
This unique playground is full of all kinds of buttons and interactive activities. There are graphs with animal noise buttons, pictures of vehicles and buttons for their noises, and even musical instruments that you can press to make noise. Toddlers love noises, so this park is a win with all of their butterfly xylophones.
There are 4 sections to this park. The playground has a large swing section with swings for toddlers, babies and mamas, disc swings, and even handicap swings. Once section is themed like a train and has a handicap zip line. The other 2 sections are just regular play structures.
What We Loved:
- All fenced in
- Multiple play structures
- Mother/Baby swings
- Bathrooms
- Musical Instruments
- Really big park
- Half of the playground is shaded
- Zip line
- Handicap swings
- Turf under playground
- Parking lot for playground
What We Disliked:
- A lot of the buttons don’t actually work
- It gets really busy
Location: 5700 Briarwood Ave, Midland, TX 79707
4. Lancaster Park
If you have a daughter that loves princesses than this is the park for you! The theme of this park is a castle! My little girl loves to climb to the top of the highest tower and have my sons come and rescue her. This is usually our go to park because it is fun and doesn’t get too crowded. It is fun for my smallest toddler to my oldest.
There are 3 levels to this playground. Obviously the tower is the top with one slide, the middle has all the activities to it from a bridge to a slides. The bottom is the ‘dungeon’ and this is where the tunnels are.
What We Loved:
- Cute castle theme
- Not crowded
- Somewhat shaded
- Toddler swings and regular swings
- Turf under playground
- Small baseball field
What We Disliked:
- Found human poop (enough said)
- Parking on road
- No bathrooms
- Mulch under swings and it gets stuck in my kids shoes
Location: 3501 W. Kansas Ave, Midland, TX 79703
5. Trinity Park
Speaking of adorable themes, check out Trinity Park! Isn’t this western/native American theme just super cute!? We love this park for so many reasons. It is small, but there is so much in it. A little something for all ages!
What We Loved:
- Walking trail around park
- Cute western theme
- Clean
- Covered picnic pavilion
- Baseball field
- Turf under play structure

- Right next to a busy road and not fenced in
Location: 3900 St. Andrews Drive, Midland, TX 79707
6. Greathouse Park
Pretty sure this is an HOA owned park so the only way you can go is if you know someone from the Greathouse housing area, but isn’t it super cool!? It is a rocket ship themed playground! It was such a cute themed park, but sadly not very well taken care of. I had lots of writing all over it and trash.
You could go super high in the rocket though and we loved the enclosed slide from the top. It gets so hot in Midland, Texas that it is nice to have an shaded playground and a shaded slide.
What We Loved:
- Cute rocket ship theme
- Shaded slide
- Turf under playground
- Toddler swings and regular swings
What We Disliked:
- HOA owned
- Lots of trash and writing on playstructure
- Toddler swings were broken and cracked
- No bathrooms
- No parking close
Location: 5000-5098 Oak Valley Dr, Midland, TX 79707
7. Reyes-Mashburn Park
This is the most unique looking playground I have ever seen. It almost looks like a playground you would see in outer space! My oldest toddler loved this playground because it involved so much climbing, but it was a little bit harder for my younger ones.
What We Loved:
- Unique Theme
- Not crowded
- Turf under playground
- Toddler swings and regular swings
- Walking trail
What We Disliked:
- Hard to find (hidden behind baseball fields)
- Bathrooms are normally locked
- Not shaded
- Not really toddler friendly
Location: 2101 Cuthbert Ave, Midland, TX 79701
8. C.J. Kelly Park
Another giant playground with a duck pond! We love to walk out on the little deck and throw corn to the ducks swimming around. During certain parts of the year they even stock this pond with fish to go fishing.
When I said this playground was a giant one, I mean giant! There are 2 levels to this playground and you get up very high! Thankfully the entire upper level is barred in so there is no way your kiddo can fall out. If they don’t like heights they may not like the highest level. The first level is about regular height for a playground and it has a slide too, so if your kid doesn’t want to go too high or can’t climb ladders they can still enjoy the park.
What We Loved:
- There is a duck pond
- Huge parking lot
- There is a short walking trail
- It is a really tall playground with really tall slides
- It has toddler and regular swings
- Picnic tables
- You can go fishing in the pond
- Baseball fields
- Turf under playground
What We Disliked:
- The water smells awful
- There is duck poop all around the pond
- The walking trail just ends randomly
- There is a bathroom which would be a plus, but it is gross and locked half of the time.
- Painful stickers in the grass
- Lots of fire ants
- Not shaded
- When it rains the turf fills with water and is almost like a giant water bed (uneven footing)
Location: 5500 League Dr, Midland, TX 79707
9. Essex Park
We love Essex Park!! This playground may be a little bit smaller, but it still has 3 slides, regular swings, toddler swings, a walking trail, and a zip line! Zip lines are always a win in my kid’s book! The main reason I like this park is that it is shaded and the giant picnic area is shaded too.
What We Loved:
- Zipline
- Turf under playground
- Giant covered picnic area
- Clean
- Walking trail
- Basketball hoop
- Shaded playground
What We Disliked:
- It is mulch under the swings and zipline. It gets in kids shoes.
- Parking on the roadside
Location: 3400 Whittle Way, Midland, TX 79707
10. Pioneer Park
Okay so this playground might not be super fun for the kids, but as a mom I love it! I love it because right next to the playground are some community exercise equipment! So while my kids are playing on the playground I can workout! Most community exercise equipment is spread out along a walking trail. Which I understand, walking is part of the exercise process; but as a mom it is super inconvenient. So this playground is built for moms looking to lose some pounds.
What We Loved:
- The playground is right next to community exercise equipment. You can work out right next to your kids while they play on the playground.
- Not busy
- Turf under playground
What We Disliked:
- Parking is on the road, and on the opposite end of the park from the playground.
- No bathrooms
- Not shaded
Location: 2001 Lindora Way, Midland, TX 79703
11. Grafa Park
Grafa Park is probably one of the most popular parks in Midland, Texas. It is right along Midkiff Rd so it is where a lot of people travel. Thankfully that side of the park is fenced. I hate being by big roads with kids, so the fence is a peace of mind.
The theme of this park is jungle and it sure gets up pretty high. Due to the fact that I have little toddlers this park makes me a little nervous because there are openings on the highest parts of the playground. The openings are for climbing up and down to the towers, but it is not that safe for the really little ones.
Despite my mama fear of my kid falling off the playground, this is a really fun playground! Aside from the main play structure there is a swing set and also a music section.
What We Loved:
- Walking trail around park
- Picnic tables (though not shaded)
- Toddler swings and regular swings
What We Disliked:
- The field floods in the rain.
- Parking along road
- No bathrooms
- Not shaded
- Playground is surrounded by little rocks and mulch that get stuck in my kids shoes
- Half of the music instruments don’t work
- Very busy
Location: Midkiff Road & Ma Mar Avenue, Midland, TX 79705
12. Dunagan Park
Another shaded park! Shaded playgrounds are always a win in West Texas. This playground is a pretty good size too! If you have a kid that loves to climb, then this park is full of climbing objects.
What We Loved:
- Slightly shaded
- Turf under playground
What We Disliked:
- No bathrooms
- Parking is alongside the road
Location: 600 E. Gist Ave, Midland, TX 79701
13. John P Butler Park
If you have a kid that likes to climb than this is a perfect park for them! There are several ladders, climbing balls, and climbing walls. It is still super fun for the little ones that can’t climb though. In fact on the opposite side of the park is a mini playground meant just for toddlers.
What We Loved:
- There is a seperate small toddler playground on the other side of the park
- Lots of soccer fields
- Covered picnic pavilion
- Bathrooms
- Toddler swings and regular swings
What We Disliked:
- Very busy on weekends due to the soccer games
- Not shaded
- Swings are a short distance from the playground, so if you are swinging one kid you won’t have a great view of the other kid on the playground
Location: 3801 Bluebird Ln, Midland, TX 79707
14. Fasken Park
If you go to parks to socialize than this is that park. There are always quite a bit of mamas and a bucket load of kids. This playground pretty much has something for all ages of kids though. There are climbing walls, really large slides, see saws, swings, toddler swings, and a merry go round.
There is even a separate play structure for toddlers! This is my favorite part about this park. At most parks toddlers just have to play around the older, more rough children. At this park they can take their time climbing stairs, slide down the slide without fear of getting run over, and little activities fit for their age.
What We Loved:
- Walking trail around park
- Separate toddler playground next to giant playground
- Toddler swings and regular swings
- Community exercise equipment along trail
- Turf under playground
What We Disliked:
- Usually pretty crowded
- A lot of trash
- Not shaded
Location: 2301 Humble Ave, Midland, TX 79705
15. Nolan Ryan Park
We loved the Nolan Ryan Park because it is never busy! Every time we have gone we have had the park to ourselves. I guess if you are going to the park to socialize with other moms, then this may not be the park for you. We love not having to wait to swing, not having to sit in the sun cause all of the shaded picnic tables are taken, and I love not losing my kids in the midst of a ton of other kids. It is a nice, well taken care of park. It even has a section to play 4 Corners and hopscotch!
What We Loved:
- Playground on turf
- Not a busy park
- Book sharing box
- Shaded picnic tables
- Hopscotch and 4 corners game set ups
- Clean park
- Toddler swings and regular swings
- Handicap swing
- Picnic tables have grills
- Volleyball court
What We Didn’t Like:
- Parking is up a hill and a distance away from the park
- No bathrooms
- Parking along side road
Location: 6000 Nolan Ryan Dr, Midland, TX 79706
16. Sparks Park
Sparks park is a super fun playground that is made up of the 3 primary colors. It is so bright! My toddlers call it the big park, because of how large it is. I love the disc swing the best! Biggest downside to this park though is that it is right along side a very busy road and it is not fenced in at all. Puts my mama nerves on edge.
What We Loved:
- Basketball Hoop
- Disk swing
- Somewhat shaded
What We Disliked:
- Right next to a busy road
- Mulch under playground that gets stuck in kids shoes
- Parking on road
Location: 1500 E. Golf Course Road, Midland, TX 79701
17. Garrett/Brown Park
Midland Texas playgrounds are fun because of the variety between them. If you go to Odessa they are all basically the same playground. Midland, however, has an assortment of themes, colors, and designs. Garrett/Brown park is a basic playground hyped up to the next level! They have a plastic rock to climb, multiple slides, places to climb, and to top it all off it is bright blue!
What We Loved:
- Not Busy
- Covered picnic area
- Turf flooring under playground
- There are 2 play structures and one of them is shaded by the trees
What We Disliked:
- No bathrooms
- Not shaded
- Dirty picnic pavilion
Location: 300 S. Holly Drive, Midland, TX 79703
18. Hill Park
Hill park wasn’t exactly the most exciting park. In fact it is pretty basic, but what we love most about this park is how it looks. Unlike the rest of West Texas, Hill Park is covered in trees that are taller than you are! It is such a clean park and so what we love most about this park is actually walking around the walking trail and psyching ourselves out that we are not in Midland, Texas. Okay that might just be me, but my kids do love riding their bikes around this park!
What We Loved:
- Walking trail around park
- Lots of trees
What We Disliked:
- Parking alongside road
- Not shaded
- Mulch under playground that gets stuck in kids shoes
Location: 1301 W. Cuthbert Ave Midland, TX 79701

Talk about a colorful playground! Though it is small we love House Park. The slide might not look big, but you can get some wicked speed on it! My kids loved the stepping stones that move the best though.
What We Loved:
- Toddler swings and regular swings
- Turf under playground
What We Disliked:
- No bathrooms
- Parking along road
- Swings are a good distance from the actual play structure. Inconvenient for keeping an eye on multiple kids.
Location: 4800 Ric Dr, Midland, TX 79703
20. Kiwanis Park
This small park has an adorable woodland theme to it. It is shaded, has a zipline, turf, swings, and lots of trees to climb. What’s not to love right? I’ll tell you! It is super busy! This park is filled with all the mamas and their kids in town! So if you are looking to socialize then by all means join the crowd. Your kids might have a blast with so many friends to play with.
What We Loved:
- Somewhat shaded
- Turf under playground
- Picnic tables (not shaded)
- Zipline
What We Disliked:
- Crowded
- No bathrooms
- Parking on the road
Location: 2900 Haynes Dr, Midland, TX 79705
21. Centennial Park
I am going to be honest here, as far as Midland, Texas playgrounds go; this playground sucks! It is not for little kids and is basically just a bunch of giant logs screwed together. The reason why this park is not our least favorite park though is because the entire park (besides the playground) is so much fun!
Tucked in smack dab in the center of downtown Midland, this is park has it all. It has the (blck) playground and a splash pad. Surrounding the splash pad shaded pavilions with picnic tables, benches, books, and games for parents who don’t want to melt in the heat of the sun.
The splash pad is manual, so you can turn it on whenever. It just sprays water from the ground, but honestly what more do you need in a splash pad!? Helpful hint though, bring water shoes, because it gets super slippery. No matter how many times you tell your kid to slow down they will most likely run through the water or away from it. Just saving you from a busted lip and lots of tears! Get water shoes!
There is a giant field surrounded by picnic tables and best of all…..drum roll please…..a giant hill! You read that right, Midland, Texas has a hill!! My kids LOVE running up and down this thing. Rolling, summersaulting, and racing up and down! I am pretty sure I love it the most though cause it completely wears them out!
If you are looking for other outdoor activities to wear out your kids click here!
What We Loved:
- Big hill to roll down
- Splash pad that is open almost all year long
- Yard games provided (connect 4, balls, books, wooden blocks)
- Shaded picnic area, that also has fans to keep you cool
- Dog park
- Bathrooms
What We Disliked:
- Playground is just logs
- Not toddler friendly play structure
- Gets really crowded
- Splash pad is slippery (wear water shoes)
- Parking is really hard to find
- It is in the center of town, surrounded by lots of cars
- Mulch under playground that gets stuck in kids shoes
Location: 200 W Wall St, Midland, TX 79701
22. Windlands Park
Windlands Park is connected to Tumbleweek Park. This is the park I actually went to on my first date with my husband. We played disc golf in the 100 degree weather. So after seeing how much I sucked at disc golf and seeing me soaked with sweat, he still asked me to marry him at this same park 1 month later. That’s a story for another day though!
Besides the sentimental memories of this park, it really is a great park. Its not much for looks, but it does have a long walking trail, disc golf, a bathroom, and community exercise equipment. The playground has a very modern vibe to it and is pretty small, but still fun.
It is the only playground in Midland, Texas with a roller slide. So instead of just a slide it is a bunch of tubes that roll you down like a conveyer belt. My kids loved it!
What We Loved:
- Roller slide
- Turf under play structure
- Doesn’t get very crowded
- Walking trail
- Community exercise equipment
- Disc golf
- Giant parking lot
- Bathrooms
What We Disliked:
- Bathrooms are really smelly
- Very small
- Not shaded
Location: 1001 W Dengar Ave, Midland, TX 79705
23. Henderson Park
This park has the most adorable jungle theme!! Honestly we would have this as one of our top playgrounds if it wasn’t so trashed. There was trash everywhere! There was broken glass under the swings, graffiti on the play structure, and trash blowing in the fields. Despite its adorableness it was so trashed! We loved the uniqueness of it though!
What We Loved:
- Covered picnic pavilion
- Toddler swings and regular swings
- Adorable jungle theme
- Turf under play structure
What We Disliked:
- Trashed
- Graffiti
- Super busy
- Parking in on street
- No bathrooms
Location: 4701 Graceland Dr, Midland, TX 79703
24. Elkin Park
What park doesn’t have swings!? This park! My kids, especially my youngest, love swings. They were pretty disappointed that they couldn’t swing. They could however play on a playground in the 98 degree weather, with the sun blaring down because this park is shaded! Thank heavens for shaded playgrounds!
What We Loved:
- Shaded
- Turf under play structure
- New
What We Disliked:
- No bathrooms
- No swings
- Parking on road
- Right by a busy road
Location: 1106 W Washington Ave, Midland, TX 79701

Best part about this park is their music section. Hidden behind the playground is a small play area full of sound. Drums, chimes, and other play instruments to help your kids embrace their inner Mozart. Haha!
What We Loved:
- Music Section
- Parking lot by playground
What We Disliked:
- Not shaded
- No bathrooms
- There is a shaded spot provided, but no tables or chairs under it.
- Mulch under playground that gets stuck in kids shoes
Location: 1206 Hickory Ave, Midland, TX 79705
26. Hogan Park
So I heard that Hogan Park is getting a million dollar face lift so hopefully this playground will get fixed up. It is a really fun playground, it is just really old and faded. The slide is faded, the turf is ripped, the instruments are filthy. Expecting great things to happen here though!
3 things that I love about this park. First the playground is handicap friendly. There is a ramp to get on the play structure with instruments for kids to play. They even have a handicap swing!
Second, Sibley Nature Center shares this park. There are desert hiking trails that lead to an adorable, colorful garden. The nature center itself isn’t that incredible, but it does have quite a bit of taxidermy animals to look at.
Third, if you have a dog, this is the park to take them! I used to bring my pup here all the time. It has 2 sections, one for big dogs and one for small dogs. There is a shaded sitting area, dog water provided, a small pool for dogs, and a training area. It is the best dog park in Midland, Texas.
What We Loved:
- Handicap friendly (ramp to play structure and handicap swings)
- Huge dog park
- Right by Sibley Nature Center
- Shaded picnic pavilions
- Lots of parking lots
- Hiking trails
- Turf under playground
What We Disliked:
- Very old
- Bathrooms are locked
- Turf under playground is ripped
- Not shaded
Location: 1201 E Wadley Ave, Midland, TX 79705

What We Loved:
- Not crowded
- My kids love the tunnel
What We Disliked:
- No bathrooms
- Parking on road
- Pretty sure it is HOA owned
- Mulch under playground
Location: South Hampton Ln and Newcastle Ln
28. Ulmer Park
This is a fun playground that is for sure, but I wouldn’t highly recommend it. This park is not very well taken care of and is not in the best of areas. The slides are drawn on, the turf is ripped, the climbing wall faded, there is trash all over, we found human poop under the playground, and the steps cracked. It is a fun structure, but a little bit gross.
What We Loved:
- Not crowded
- Baseball fields
- A picnic table
- Turf under playground
What We Disliked:
- No bathrooms
- Torn turf
- The slides were colored on

Location: 2700 W Kentucky Ave, Midland, TX 79701
29. Washington Park
If you have played at playgrounds in Odessa, Texas than this playground will look pretty familiar. Only difference is that it is blue and green, not red and tan. These playgrounds are fun for older kids, but for toddler their isn’t much they can do. They can’t climb as well or even reach the next thing to climb on.
This park is unique from other parks though because it is also where the Washington Aquatic Park is. Waterslides, splash pads, and pools to cool you off in the summer!
What We Loved:
- There is an aquatic park here too
- Shaded by trees
- Walking trail
What We Disliked:
- Parking on road
- Right by a very busy road
- No bathrooms
- Mulch under playground that gets stuck in kids shoes
- Not very toddler friendly
Location: 1803 E Indiana Ave, Midland, TX 79701
30. Cowden Park
This small playground has a toddler section that is fun, but pretty basic. The other half is nothing but climbing structures. My personal favorite part is the merry go round. When I was young merry go rounds were just metal bars that twirled you around. Now they are plastic seats with backs that twirl! They are surprising pretty comfortable, but I guess that is because they are comparable to the grated benches most parks have.
What We Loved:
- Shaded playground
- Walking Trail
- Toddler swings and regular swings
- Not crowded
- Turf under playground
What We Disliked:
- No bathrooms
- Mulch under swings that gets stuck in kids shoes
- Only toddler slides
Location: 1100 Ward St, Midland, TX 79701
31. Permian Basin Vietnam Veterans Memorial Park
Outside of town by the Midland airport you will see a helicopter. If you stop at the helicopter, you will actually find a Vietnam memorial and a playground. Who knew right? The memorial isn’t anything huge. but it is still fun to bring education and playtime together.
What We Loved:
- The Vietnam memorial is cool to see

32. Hidalgo Park
This park is very small, but is has a toddler sections, 4 slides, and a twirly chair! I personally love this park because while my kids play I generally work out. I use the playground equipment as exercise equipment, and this particular park has a little staircase. So I do bleachers and run up and down the stairs for my workout. This is actually one of my favorite parks to work out at because of the stair case! I know a weird reason to love a playground. Haha!
What We Liked:
- Shaded picnic pavilion
- 2 play structures
- Turf under playground
- Somewhat shaded playground
What We Disliked:
- Parking on road
- Bathrooms are locked
Location: 1401 Orchard Lane, Midland, TX 79701
33. Ally Village Playground
When shopping around Ally Village or stopping by for a popsicle at the PopBar, walk on over to this cute little playground! Like I said this playground is small, but it has so really fun climbing structures on it. There are 2 play structures, one for toddlers and one for bigger kids.
What We Loved:
- All fenced in
- Turf under playground
- Cute bench area
What We Disliked:
- The swings were so long that even with my kids legs up they were still scrapping the ground
- Small
- No bathrooms
- No picnic tables
Location: 200 Spring Park Dr Suite 200, Midland, TX 79705
34. Ratliff Park
This playground is in really good condition, the main reason why we don’t really enjoy this park is that there isn’t much to it if you don’t enjoy climbing. For my little group of toddlers climbing isn’t always safest or the most fun activity.

- Covered picnic tables
What We Disliked:
- Not great for toddlers

I think the main reason we didn’t enjoy this park is that it is pretty standard and a little boring. I mean compared to the other Midland, Texas playgrounds, this one isn’t really anything to brag about.
What We Loved:
- Not Crowded
- Picnic tables
- Large field
What We Disliked:
- Basic playground
- No bathrooms
- Park on the road
- No toddler swings
- Mulch under playground that gets stuck in kids shoes
- Creepier part of town
Location: 1401 Carter Avenue, Midland, TX 79701
36. James M Bradford Park
There honestly isn’t much to this park, which is why it is not one of our favorites. The playground is just climbing equipment. There are monkey bars, poles, a climbing wall, and a spider web climbing rope area. Not a very toddler friendly park.
Things We Loved:
- Not busy
- Clean park
- Lots of benches
- Swing and toddler swings
- Picnic tables
Things We Disliked:
- Parking along road

37. Sidwell Park
Sidwell park is our least favorite park for obvious reasons. There isn’t really anything to it, but monkey bars. Not swings, no slides, just monkey bars. Boring and not toddler friendly at all.
What We Loved:
- Shaded playground
